Note: We, at Watermate are of the opinion that water which has been put through the Reverse osmosis process is not good for drinking over the long term if separate mineral supplements are not taken. Reverse osmosis removes all traces of minerals from the water and leaves the water sterile. If taken over a long period of time, the minerals already in the body can be leached out which could lead to unhealthy complications.

Reverse osmosis water is normally used in hospitals, clinics, laboratories or anywhere else where sterile water is needed for decontamination of equipment.

Doctors may encourage cancer patients to drink reverse osmosis water while taking supplements because there is no Chlorine in the water which is something that aggravates and encourages the growth of cancer.
